Which code type should I choose?
For products sold in shops, EAN-13 (or UPC-A in the United States and Canada). For internal inventory, labels or shipping, Code 128, which accepts letters and numbers.
Can I use it to sell in shops or supermarkets?
This tool draws the code with the number you type. Retail EAN and UPC numbers are obtained from GS1 or the agency in your country: using made-up numbers can clash with other products.
Is my data uploaded to the internet?
No. The code is drawn inside your browser, on your own computer; we do not save what you type.
